Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and set it aside. Grooves are milled into the side of the upper end of the fork legs.
The handlebar must be able to move easily over the entire steering range. Immediately clean contaminated areas on the skin with soap and water. Ensure that the chain tension is correct and adjust it if necessary. Both throttle cables must be routed to the throttle valve body side by side behind the handlebars and above the fuel tank bearing. Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to decrease the distance between the clutch lever and the handlebar. Adjust the free travel on hand brake lever according to specifications. Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise to decrease the distance between the hand brake lever and the handlebar.
