Porsche Production Specifications (PPS) This unique document includes your vehicle’s original production specifications, including factory-installed options, exterior and interior color, production completion date (Birth Date) and manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP), dependent upon availability of information. Document does not include production number, selling dealer, previous owners, warranty history, standard equipment or technical information.
To order a PPS simply download, complete and fax this document to 1-800-322-2436 and allow 4 – 6 weeks for delivery. Classic Technical Certificate (CTC) The new CTC documents and evaluates a Classic vehicle’s technical condition with a 63 point inspection at an Certified Classic Partner. It provides information about the exterior and interior colors, options, and a visual verification of powertrain serial numbers. More information on the CTC availability will be posted in the coming months. These documents can prove to be invaluable for restoration, resale and for displaying your Porsche vehicle at official Porsche concourse events, such as the annual Porsche Club of America Parade.

Depending on the driving speed and the engine speed, the transmission will downshift. Upshifting takes place at the highest possible engine speeds. Driving in coasting mode Coasting is driving with the engine disengaged at idle speed without the engine braking effect. The standard function is designed to increase efficiency and driving comfort, and is active by default. Coasting occurs after the accelerator pedal is fully released. When the accelerator pedal is pressed again the engine is quickly and easily engaged and coasting stops.

No major inclines or slopes. Initiating coasting mode manually When adopting an anticipatory driving style, depending on the traffic, coasting can be initiated manually to increase efficiency.
To do so use the gearshift paddle or the selector lever to manually shift up beyond the highest possible gear. The same applies to the active use of the engine brake, for example driving up to a vehicle in front or a red light. Launch Control is used to achieve maximum acceleration from a standstill. Loss of control over the vehicle or endangering other road users In some situations (poor road conditions, driver inattention, etc.) control over the vehicle may be lost or other road users may be endangered as a result. Only use Launch Control on public roads if the road and traffic conditions permit. Do not endanger other road users when using Launch Control. Information Stresses on components increase significantly when driving off at maximum acceleration compared to normal driving off. Engine is at operating temperature.
