I bought my 2015 GMC Acadia Denali with the Bose Navigation radio (with rear seat entertainment), primarily because of voice navigation. I.e., Press the voice recognition button on the steering wheel and say 'Navigation'. Then say 'Destination Points of Interest'. That doesn't work. Say 'Intersection'. That doesn't work. Say 'Find My Location'.
That doesn't work. The only features that work are 'Destination Address' or 'Contacts'. When I'm driving down the interstate I want to press the button and say 'Find a restaurant' or 'Find a Hotel'. According to the manual and the GMC internet site, all of these features should work. According to the GMC Infotainment Center, all of these should work. The dealer is frustrated. They are following the same guidance that is in the manual, all to no avail.
Does GMC advertise and promote a product that doesn't work? Anyone else have the same problem? If there's a solution, I'd sure like to learn about it.
