I called the below company and they told me the following; 1) Official printed manuals have not been made for a number of years, only CD's are now available. 2) The CD for the current year, such as 2015, typically comes out at the years end. Based on their website, they appear to be one of the leading suppliers of auto manuals and seem very knowledgable, so I have no reason to doubt the person I spoke to. Give them call if you like. Every new Jeep purchase comes with the Owners Manual and warranty book on a CD.
These contain only the most basic information. However, I believe what we are talking about is the Factory Service Manual that is used by professional mechanics and is an in-depth guide to working on ones Jeep. These CD's typically go for around $400. While I do not own one yet, I just bought my first Wrangler (2015) and I am waiting for this manual to be available. Its my understanding that this is what this thread is about.

Its my understanding that this is what this thread is about. Please correct me if I am wrong. You are correct. The CD is for the most part self contained and has the information stored on the disk. There are a few internet links that reference special tools and directs you to the website. It usually shows a picture and the ability to login and order the tools.
2015 Jeep Wrangler Owners Manual
The disk will only work on Windows Xp or later and requires IE 6 or greater web browser. I did however have to return mine for a replacement when I first recieved it due to being scratched up. They come on a burned cd, not a factory pressed cd. I expected a pressed one for the money that was charged. And yes I ordered direct from Chrysler Tech Authority.
