This company buys new model vehicles at auction that have been in moderate to severe accidents and then are repaired to sell before the accident shows on the car fax. Yes, they are unaware of this in all likelihood when they buy them. But they should know when they are delivered.
I bought one two weeks ago and returned it after I had a mechanic inspect it. I was told it has been in a major accident and had major repairs to the front end.
I told them about the damage and was told by my sales person they would not resell it. He even thanked me for bringing it to their attention. Four days after my refund was sent to me, the vehicle was resisted on their site with the same listing as before. They know it was in an accident, because I told them.
I had a colleague call to ask if the vehicle had been wrecked. Their reply was to check the carfax on their website. That is an exceptionally dishonest and deceptive practice. I will never do business with this sham of a company again.
If you look at a car two years old your less, take it to a body shop first. You will pay in the end when you sell or trade if you but a wreck car and are not aware of it upfront. They did refund me 100% but only after I had to argue with my salesperson to get the manager to give me the refund amount in writing so they couldnt hold back any fees or incidentals.
Very disappointed in their business practices. This would probably be a great consumer affairs story for KPRC or another local affiliate to cover. If they inspect vehicles before selling them, they would have to know. If they dont because of the volume they sell, they are irresponsible. Either way, this is a horrible way to run a business since they are deceiving customers either willful knowledge of selling crashed cars or willful neglect to inspect them because they can use that as their excuse for not informing their customers about repaired vehicles. The interior of the new Panamera is just as exciting as the exterior. The interior is very comfortable, well appointed, and hi-tech. Multiple buttons on both sides of console are gone.
